Lijiang Baisha Ancient Town!!! Personally, I feel it’s unbeatable...

Lijiang, this small city, hides so many surprises, and Baisha Ancient Town is definitely the one I can’t stop thinking about! Even breathing here slows down, it’s truly the pinnacle of healing travel~

🏡【Baisha Ancient Town Must-Visit Spots】
📍Sifang Street: The soul of the ancient town, with original Naxi residences lining the cobblestone road. The afternoon sunlight slants onto the wooden doors, and every casual shot looks like a masterpiece!

📍Baisha Murals: Hidden in inconspicuous residences, these religious murals from the Ming Dynasty still have vivid colors. Remember to speak softly when visiting~

📍Tie-dye Workshop: There are several long-established shops in the ancient town. Watching the elderly lady create on homespun cloth with indigo dye is fascinating, and you can also try DIY yourself (about 50-80 RMB per person).

☕️【Best Spots to Zone Out】
Passing by Mantou Poet’s Rose Mantou Shop (east side of Sifang Street), be sure to buy two for breakfast! A bit further ahead, the second floor of 7sea bar is the best spot to photograph Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Order a cup of Yunnan small bean coffee and you can sit all day.

📸【Off-the-Beaten-Path Activities】
If you like collecting stamps, remember to bring a notebook! The post office and cafes have unique stamps. The market day every Friday is lively, where you can find handmade copperware, Dongba paper, and other special items. A 15-minute walk north leads to a ranch, perfect for stunning photos with the snow mountain.

⚠️TIPS:
1. Altitude is about 2400 meters, avoid strenuous exercise upon arrival
2. Large temperature difference between day and night, a light down jacket is most practical
3. Some guesthouses do not provide disposable toiletries, it’s recommended to bring your own
4. Main street shops generally close by 9 PM, but bars stay open until dawn

🌸Even now, I can still picture the scene when I opened the window early in the morning: snow mountains in the distance, smoke from cooking nearby, wind chimes ringing under the eaves... Such slow moments are probably the true meaning of travel~
