Small size ancient town with some unexpected shopping picks, several instagrammable spots, some shops of character, and plenty of coffee places. Worth a leisurely stroll through on your way back from the Yulong Mountains. A more rustic feel permeates, compared to touristy Lijiang, allowing one to slow down and regain a sense of calm in your travels.
