A Sacred Place to Zone Out at the Foot of the Snow Mountain: Snow Mountain Hotel Lie Flat

Escaping the city this time to Yulong, Lijiang, I stayed at a wild luxury hotel that captivated me at first sight—the Ritzman Suye Snow Mountain Wild Luxury Resort Hotel. When night falls and the pine wood fireplace crackles while brewing tea, looking up to see the silhouette of the snow mountain under the starry sky, that wordless healing feeling instantly makes the room fee worth it🌌

📍Perfect Location
Hidden in Group 2, Shangcun, Wenhai Village (Baisha Town), it exclusively occupies the prime viewing platform for Yulong Snow Mountain. Every room offers a panoramic view of the snow mountain; lying in bed, you can see the golden sunlight on the mountain and the lake reflecting the snowy peaks—breathtakingly beautiful. Even more surprising, the alpacas and spotted deer in the courtyard come over for pets, instantly transporting you to a fairy tale world🦌

🏡 Thoughtful Design
Combining traditional Naxi architecture with modern wild luxury style to a new height! The whole house has floor heating + smart toilets to save you from the cold plateau climate. The best part is every room has a stargazing bathtub and 270° floor-to-ceiling windows. We stayed in a water-view room; opening the window in the morning revealed a mist-covered lake, like living inside a landscape painting—unreal.

🔥 Must-Experience Activities
• Fireplace tea brewing (highly recommend at night! The fireplace glow with the snow mountain starry sky is so dreamy)
• Foraging mushrooms and making butter tea with the butler
• Bonfire party at sunset, dancing the Guozhuang dance is super fun
• Soaking in the bath while watching the Milky Way, and spotting shooting stars overhead

🍲 Foodie Guide
The breakfast crossing-the-bridge rice noodles are incredibly fresh, and the yak meat hotpot uses beef slaughtered the same day. The biggest surprise is the goodnight sweet soup, which warms you up completely before sleep. The butler also provides essential oxygen bottles for the plateau—attention to detail is perfect💯

📸 Photo Spots
1. Room terrace: wear a white robe at sunrise and shoot your back silhouette
2. Lakeside swing: shoot people and snow mountain reflections in the afternoon with soft light
3. Fireplace: take side face silhouette portraits with your phone at night
4. Starry bathtub: scatter petals and pop champagne for atmospheric shots

🚗 Transportation Tips
• 40 minutes by car from Lijiang Old Town (car hire recommended)
• The mountain road is a bit steep, but the butler will send location navigation in advance
• Large temperature difference between morning and night, be sure to bring a thick coat + sunscreen
