[Yunlin] Beigang Chaotian Temple: Long history, rich cultural activities, the procession during Mazu's birthday attracted thousands of believers

Beigang Chaotian Temple is located in Beigang Town, Yunlin County. It is one of the famous Mazu temples in Taiwan and one of the oldest and largest Mazu temples in the country. The temple was founded during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years.

Chaotian Temple is famous for its exquisite architecture and rich cultural activities, especially during the birthday of Mazu (March 23rd of the lunar calendar), when a grand procession is held, attracting tens of thousands of believers to come and worship.
