Yunlin Huwei|"Without burning gold paper, the path remains pure; with dragon shadows and shimmering light, the heart becomes clear—A visit to Yunlin Chifa Mazu Temple."

As evening falls in Huwei, the sky turns blue, and I step into a tranquil corner of the countryside—the Chifa Mazu Temple. From afar, the temple's red-tiled roofs and flying eaves catch the eye, with dragons intricately carved on the archway. The temple gate glows softly under the night sky. This is not a bustling site filled with incense and crowds, but a Mazu temple renowned for its serenity.

Upon entering the temple, the first impression is "elegance." Unlike many other temples, this one does not burn gold paper but offers a single stick of incense. Here, faith is simplified, leaving only a pure and heartfelt intention. The courtyard is clean and orderly, with flickering lights reflecting the focused expressions of worshippers, bringing a sense of calm to one's heart.
