2-Day Trip Around Ningbo｜Throw Your Body and Mind into the Greenery of Siming Mountain

Three Thousand Li of Siming — Follow the Poets to Tour Ningbo and Unlock Siming Mountain in Li Bai’s Poems Along the Tang Poetry Road in Eastern Zhejiang

Day 1: Dive straight into the landscape painting of Yuyao~
The waterfall at Liangnong Baishuichong is full of spirit; the sound of water hitting the rocks is like nature humming a song. Standing by the pool instantly cools you down by 5°C! Walk a bit further to the source of the Yao River, watching the clear spring water bubbling out from the cracks in the rocks — this is the starting point of the mother river~

In the afternoon, go to Siming Mountain Forest Park to breathe fresh air. The trees along the winding mountain road spread out like green umbrellas. Any photo taken by the roadside looks like stepping into an oil painting. At dusk, visit Zhongcun Village, hidden in the valley with a creek running through it. Have a bowl of local creek fish for dinner — so fresh you’ll want to lick the plate!

At night, go to Longguan Chan’na Homestay for a cup of tea. The Zen-inspired courtyard design is perfect for zoning out, making you feel completely calm~

Day 2: Get up early to visit Longguan Wulongtan (Five Dragon Pools). Each of the five pools has its own beauty. When tired from hiking, just sit on the rocks by the pools and daydream while listening to birdsong and insect chirps.

In the afternoon, head straight to Xufu Rock. The waterfall hanging down from the cliff is spectacular. Walking on the glass plank road makes your legs a bit weak, but the view is amazing! Stay at Dongshan Village homestay. At night, you can see the stars, and the owner’s braised pork paired with the mountain breeze is so delicious you won’t want to say a word~

The last stop is Xuedou Mountain to wrap up the trip. Climb the mountain, enjoy the scenery, and pay respects to Maitreya Buddha. Let the mountains and waters take away the fatigue of the two days. When heading home, the trunk is packed with mountain goods, and your heart is filled with lush green~
