Hey guys, I recently visited Taierzhuang Ancient City and was completely blown away by its beauty! Today, I'm sharing a super detailed one-day travel guide with you—no more chit-chat, let's get straight to the good stuff👇
🏠 Accommodation:
This time, I stayed in the Scholar's Family Room at Zhuangyuanlou Inn, located right inside the ancient city—the location is fantastic!
✨ The inn has a traditional courtyard style, full of antique charm and rich Chinese aesthetics. The room was spacious, cozy, and elegantly decorated, perfect for a family without feeling cramped. Plus, the service was incredibly thoughtful, making the stay a 10/10 experience 💯
🍜 Dining:
I ate at Zhuangyuanlou Restaurant, and it absolutely amazed me! Must-try dishes:
- **Spicy Chicken**: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with the aroma of chili infused perfectly—each bite was pure satisfaction!
- **Stir-Fried Chicken Giblets**: Just the right level of spiciness, super appetizing with rice.
Pair these with the local-style pancakes—double the carb joy, who can resist? I devoured two huge ones 🌯
🚶♀️ Sightseeing:
🎈 **Rowing Boat Ride**: A must-do in Taierzhuang Ancient City! Glide along the water, listening to the boatwoman’s soothing songs, admiring the ancient architecture on both banks, and feeling the gentle breeze—pure bliss. The scenery is stunning, perfect for photos 📸 Pro tip: Go around 5–6 PM to enjoy both daytime views and the magical sight of the ancient city lighting up at dusk~
🎈 **Strolling Through the Ancient City**: Walk slowly along the cobblestone paths, soaking in the historic buildings—it’s like stepping back in time. Don’t miss:
- **Tianhou Palace** and **Yue Lao Temple** (Matchmaker Temple) for a dose of history and culture.
- Quirky little shops for unique souvenirs 🎁
🎈 **Revival Square**: The bustling heart of the ancient city! Catch lively performances like dragon dances, lion dances, and acrobatics—full of vibrant folk vibes 🥳
Travel Tips:
1. Buy tickets online in advance.
2. Wear comfy shoes—there are lots of cobblestone paths, and your feet will thank you later.
3. Book the rowing boat ride ahead of time.
Guys, save this guide and plan a trip to Taierzhuang Ancient City soon—it’s pure magic! 💕
