Zhangjiagang Itinerary/Spring Getaway to a Relaxing and Underrated City

During the Qingming holiday, I took my kids to Zhangjiagang, and it was great! The attractions weren't crowded, the scenery was beautiful, and the food and accommodations were excellent! This reverse-tourism trip with kids was a success!
I'm sharing my itinerary with everyone!

✅Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrived in Zhangjiagang at noon and checked in to the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel. After checking in, we headed straight to Xiangshan Scenic Area. The tulips 🌷 in the scenic area were in full bloom, with various colors, very beautiful~🌸 Worth visiting!
In the evening 🌆, we returned to the hotel 🏨 just in time for the buffet dinner on the 39th floor at 5:30 pm. The view from the top floor was beautiful, overlooking the night view of Zhangjiagang 🌃. The dishes were also exquisite, 🈶️ durian cake, fresh coconut 🥥, sea crab 🦀️... There was a lot of choice for the two kids.
After dinner, we strolled around Wanda Plaza downstairs to digest.
Day 2:
After having a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we went to Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park (free 🆓) with the kids. There were many amusement facilities there, and the kids could play for half a day.
After returning to the hotel, we had lunch at the Chinese restaurant on the 38th floor. The lunch was exquisite, and they even prepared Qingtuan (sweet green rice balls) for dessert, which was really thoughtful! It was great to enjoy the scenery while having lunch!
We checked out and went home after 1 pm.

A few reminders:
1⃣️ Parking at Xiangshan Scenic Area 🉑️ is available on the small road near the parking lot, free 🆓. Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park also has free 🆓 parking.
2⃣️ The hotel's high-altitude restaurant is great for taking photos, don't miss it.
3⃣️ When checking in, they saw that I had children with me, and they gave us snacks and toys, and also prepared toothpaste and toothbrushes for the children, which was really considerate! The details at Marriott are great!
4⃣️ If you are traveling with children, bring a stroller, as there is a lot of walking in Xiangshan. Also, bring sunscreen products such as hats!
5⃣️ There are many people in the children's playground in Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park, so you can go earlier. The playground is outdoors, so you can play at any time.

There are many places to play in Zhangjiagang. Next time, I plan to go to Shuangshan Island to dig for crabs and to the Jiangnan Agricultural Culture Park to see small animals, and continue to stay at the Marriott.
