Tianmen Mountain

Tianmen Mountain, the Gateway to Heaven in Zhangjiajie, where 'Tian' means sky or heaven, 'Men' means gate, and 'Shan' means mountain, altogether translates to 'Gateway to Heaven'. It is a must-visit natural tourist attraction that is truly worth the trip. The top of the mountain offers a vast plain area of about 2 square kilometers, all of which is well-preserved forest. Importantly, it is a destination that can be visited all year round, through all four seasons, offering different scenic views that are each beautiful in their own way. However, the most popular time for tourists is from May to October.
