The gate of heaven 🤩

I visited Tianmen Mountain on a day trip and it was truly one of the highlights of my time in China. The experience was equal parts scenic and adventurous.

The journey started with the world’s longest cable car ride from downtown Zhangjiajie to the top of the mountain – about 30 minutes of stunning views over the city, cliffs, and forests. Make sure you get a window seat for photos!

At the summit, the glass skywalks offer a heart-pounding thrill for those not afraid of heights. Even with some crowding, the walk was well-managed and totally worth it for the adrenaline and panoramic views. I also walked the cliff-hugging plank paths, which felt surreal.#tianmenmountain
