Here is a detailed introduction:
- Natural Landscape: Jiupeng Stream originates from Tiantai Mountain National Forest Park. The water area is 7 kilometers long, with an average depth of about 40 meters, and the water quality is clear. The mountains on both banks are steep, with ancient trees reaching to the sky, mostly original broad-leaved forests. The air has a high content of negative oxygen ions, making it a natural oxygen bar. Within the scenic area, there are also terraced tea plantations that undulate with the mountains. The mountain breeze blows, like green waves rippling. From the end of each year to early summer of the following year, a large number of mandarin ducks overwinter here.
- Cultural History: Wang Jinghong, a navigator from the Ming Dynasty, set sail from here to the world. Xu Xiake once boated on Jiupeng Stream twice and left three diary entries, making the scientific conclusion that "the more constricted the course, the faster the current," indicating an inverse relationship between flow velocity and channel width.
- Scenic Facilities: The scenic area is equipped with service facilities such as Jiupeng Restaurant, Guild Hall Teahouse, Water Villas, and Jinghong Mountain Villa. A 14-kilometer round-trip water tour route has been opened, where visitors can enjoy the scenery from a painted boat, savor fine Narcissus tea, and participate in water activities like net fishing and fishing competitions.
