Stay with kids in a cave hotel in Guizhou and start a dreamy family trip

Honestly‼️ Most hotels I've stayed at before are pretty much the same—just a bed and four walls, with overused trendy styles that make you not want to stay a second time. But this time, by chance, we stayed in a cave hotel in Guizhou, and it completely changed my perception😭
We actually slept inside a natural rock cave! Fengxi Cave Hotel is built on a mountaintop, uniquely integrated into the karst cave landscape✨ Looking up, you can see stalactites and cave walls, as if you are inside a cliff cave, and you can even explore the earth’s core. The photos look amazing, making this trip totally worth it🥰

⭕️ Must-visit spots📌
🍃 Huangguoshu Waterfall: The largest waterfall in China and Asia, and one of the world’s most famous waterfalls. The Water Curtain Cave and steep ponds here were filming locations for the 1986 version of "Journey to the West." Bring your kids to experience its magnificent power—super impressive!
🍃 Libo Xiaoqikong: Known as the "Emerald of the World," with continuous skirt-shaped peaks, jade-green lakes, and dense forests. Walk with your kids here under shady trees, enjoying beautiful, serene scenery and fresh air. You can also trek through the forest and boat on the lake to embrace the wonders of nature together~
🍃 Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village: Enter the village and the unique wooden stilt houses halfway up the mountain stand out. The night view of the Miao village is stunningly beautiful. Dress your kids in Miao ethnic costumes to experience authentic Miao culture—very meaningful!
🍃 Fanjing Mountain: Pristine ecology well preserved with many rare species. The main peak’s “Mushroom Rock” is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, about ten meters tall, standing on the mountain for a billion years. Take photos with your kids here to capture beautiful moments~
⭕️ Travel tips⚠️
The attractions are quite far apart. If you don’t want to plan everything yourself, it’s recommended to choose a private tour that includes airport transfers + hotel accommodation + private car travel + attraction tickets, making it worry-free and convenient.
Remember to bring an umbrella, sunscreen, and common medicines just in case.
Guizhou cuisine tends to be sour and spicy. If your kids can’t handle it, be sure to tell the waiter when ordering~
