This is a must-visit hidden village in Guizhou!

In August, when the furnace city is explosively hot💥, I decisively escaped the city and dove into a secluded Dong village deep in the mountains of Guizhou!⛰️

(Actually, I was tricked into coming to Guizhou after seeing some photos of Jindong organized by someone hhh)

🌟Transportation guide:
🚄 Guiyang North Station ➡️ Rongjiang Station 1-hour high-speed train
🚕 Rongjiang Station ➡️ Village entrance 30-minute taxi
🚌 Shuttle bus into the village
Finally, you still have to climb a mountain for 15 minutes to get to the mid-mountain guesthouse where I stayed...
I was so exhausted when I arrived, like I had run a half marathon😵‍💫
Almost gave up on the spot!

But! When I saw the scenery in front of me,
all the fatigue was worth it!💯

🌿Scenery so beautiful it makes you cry:
Layer upon layer of wooden buildings hidden in a sea of green bamboo
Sitting by the window daydreaming can easily take up half a day
It’s like a real-life paradise~

Here you can:
✔️ Learn traditional tie-dyeing (and get fed yangmei!)
✔️ Shop for handmade ethnic crafts by the local ladies
✔️ Enjoy freshly slaughtered native chicken hotpot with a super bouncy texture (remember to book in advance)
✔️ Check in at the village’s only coffee shop☕️

The most, most, most healing thing is:
Drinking coffee at a century-old elm wood table
Listening to the babbling creek beneath your feet
Turning off your phone, all stress gone
This is the true slow life~⏳
