The 3,400-square-meter expo hall, constructed from a converted industrial plant, features a facade composed of tens of thousands of panels of mirrored glass. It showcases scientific knowledge about the smart grid industry, the achievements of the Jiangning Development Zone's industrial cluster, scientific research and development, application of research results, and public services, showcasing the future development direction and advanced concepts of the smart grid industry. The second phase will showcase products and achievements from leading domestic and international smart grid companies, universities, and research institutes, and will also provide space for scientific and technological conferences.
On the underground floor of the State Grid Pavilion, the smart grid comprehensive demonstration and display area has been transformed into a magnificent and ever-changing world of electricity, allowing visitors to gain a close-up and multi-angle understanding of the smart grid. Through the large glass windows, visitors can observe the operation of the main transformer of the underground 110 kV Mengzi substation, which is known as the "Energy Heart" of the Puxi Park of the World Expo.
With a subtropical monsoon climate, the art exhibition adopts a combination of various humanized designs and multimedia technology projects to ensure the comfort of visitors, making it suitable for travel in all seasons.
