Only Henan has such a strong impact, listen to my real feelings

Just caught the fifth time the sorghum turned red,
Yesterday and today finally checked in at the highly recommended "Only Henan" by people around me.
This time I took my parents, focusing on a relaxed and comfortable experience without exhaustion.
2 days in the park totaling 15 hours, had 3 meals, watched 3 major shows and 7 minor shows.
Want to share some 🗺️ practical tips and insights from this 2-day trip.
A note upfront,
No need to follow others' play order,
Because the daily 🎬 show schedule changes.
You can see the show list on the mini program after 10:00 PM the day before.
▪️【How to Choose Shows】
Recommend watching all three major shows, minor shows can be chosen based on your schedule.
The order of major shows is better as "Train Station" followed by "Lijia Village" for storyline continuity, but it’s not a big deal.
"Phantom City Theater" is an independent story; all 3 major shows are quite different and worth watching.
Some minor shows are related to the major shows' plots, some are more absurd and comedic, so choose according to your preference.
You can check the brief introduction on the APP from multiple angles like actors, stage design, and plot.
My top 5 minor shows for reference:
"Xue Huaiyi" Teacher Wang’s sexual tension is full-on, applause erupts as soon as he appears.
"Wheat, Oh Wheat" exceeded expectations, the stage design is very good.
"Cao Cao’s Wheat Field" offers a glimpse of history through drama, makes me want to revisit the Three Kingdoms.
"Su Shi’s Henan" has an interesting stage, close-up viewing.
"Old Courtyard" is a simple introduction to Yu Opera.
▪️【Finding Theaters】
The map in the APP seems not to have real-time positioning, so it’s not very useful.
You can use your phone’s navigation; theaters generally have location info which is more convenient.
▪️【Queuing】
Most shows on non-holidays can be queued about half an hour in advance. For less popular shows like "Wheat," 15 minutes ahead is fine.
The hardest to queue for are "Red Cheeks" 🔴 and "Red Temple School" due to small capacity, but check if their comedic style is worth the wait first.
▪️【Food】
There are mainly 2 food areas inside the theaters.
Wheat Restaurant has KFC, a mix of various regional foods, and some Henan specialties like spicy soup.
The Pit Courtyard mostly offers 🍜 Henan cuisine, including Luoyang beef soup, Jiyuan egg no-flip, Nanyang thick soup noodles, etc.
Bought a limited edition bread at "A Cup of Yellow River Water," which was pretty good.
For tea drinks, I recommend trying "Juan Tea"’s Schizonepeta Lemon Tea, a Henan exclusive brand, I love it.
▪️【Tickets】
I compared different platforms’ wine + ticket packages,
Prices don’t always have an advantage, so it’s best to calculate.
I bought directly on the mini program,
2-day ticket, 🎫 select the major show entry time in advance when purchasing.
Random thoughts:
For example, on a non-holiday, a 1-day ticket is 290 yuan, including 1 major show and all minor shows. Each additional major show costs 100 yuan.
A 2-day ticket is 490 yuan, which is like paying for 3 major shows (since you might not finish all major shows in 1 day due to scheduling), but you can enjoy 2 relaxed days, so the 2-day ticket is more cost-effective for a deep experience.
▪️【Accommodation】
The theater hotel 💰 next to the theater starts around 600 yuan, reviews are mixed, I didn’t choose it.
Nearby are mostly homestays about 2 km away, and cost-effective hotels are mostly 6-12 km away.
Within 6 km, Licheng Duoyue, Minghe Dongyue, and Zhongmu Zhipu are all 4-diamond hotels, prices start at 150 yuan, about a 10-minute drive. I chose Duoyue with Jo Malone toiletries; although it has some shortcomings, overall the cost performance and comfort are OK.
▪️【Transportation】
Free parking for self-driving. Some nearby hotels offer free shuttle service to the theater.
