Lama Songzanlin Temple

This important monastery in Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, is over 300 years old and sits atop a mountain at an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level. It is the largest Lama monastery in Yunnan, built with the faith of Tibetan Buddhism.

It's a truly unique and breathtaking architecture. The interior is strikingly unique and magnificent. The tranquil atmosphere is surrounded by beautiful nature. Those with altitude sickness may want to bring oxygen.

Admission fee: 55 yuan + round-trip shuttle bus: 20 yuan
