✨Hotel Features: Located in the heart of the downtown business district, you can easily reach Sun Wen West Road Pedestrian Street and Qijiang Park within walking distance of the hotel, enjoying the charming views of both sides of the Qijiang River. The hotel opened in 2010 and has 362 rooms, including 44 suites. The hotel has 2 outdoor pools, a health club, a full-service spa and more, with an executive lounge on the 27th floor.

This stay experience

I chose Sheraton Zhongshan for my first stay in 2025. From Shenzhen, via the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, you can reach the hotel in about 1 hour. It is really much more convenient after the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. The day before check-in, I communicated with the hotel on the APP to upgrade the suite and checked that the APP had been upgraded that day. The hotel is quite generous with Marriott High Card membership upgrades and basically arranges for rooms available. The hotel has a small suite and a large suite, I arrived at noon and without waiting was arranged directly for the small suite, the large suite generally does not become empty until the evening and needs to wait.

In terms of hotel facilities, the lobby, elevator hall and public area corridor are well maintained and very neat. But the equipment in the room is a bit old, after all, it has been in business for more than 20 years, the bedding is ordinary, but there is equipped with an air purifier and clothes disinfection cabinet, the hotel WIFI signal is good, the shower head water output.

The Executive Lounge opens at 2.30pm with just a few simple pastries and some soft drinks in the afternoon. Around 5:30 is happy hour, the day has 5 hot dishes (lamb ribs and seafood shellfish hot stir-fry), salad, seafood fried rice, 2 fried foods, soup, silver ear soup, sushi and some dessert pastries. Breakfast is on the first floor, and members have a dedicated menu and an exclusive menu with freshly squeezed juices, good products from eggs Benedict with salmon and spinach, as well as artificial noodle stalls and Zhongshan specialty food snacks.

📝Summary: The overall experience is quite satisfactory, staff service needs to be strengthened, attitude is not enthusiastic enough, and the guidelines of the basement parking are not clear enough. However, the hotel is superbly located, with various attractions in Zhongshan very concentrated and within walking distance. The price of less than 500 on weekends is considered the first choice in Zhongshan city.
