Shenzhen to Zhongshan: 2 Days 1 Night Relaxing Trip Itinerary

Recently, Shenzhen is filled with our Hong Kong 🇭🇰 friends. For us working folks, why not break free from the city and relax in Zhongshan? This trip offers great value and is definitely worth it!

🔻Day 1🔻

• 8:40 AM: Take the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage special line (one-way ticket costs 💰18, can be booked on the app). Enjoy the sea breeze on your way to Zhongshan.

• 10:00 AM: Arrive at Shiqi and check into the Yihe Hotel in downtown Zhongshan (approximately 💰600 per room). The hotel is comfortable and perfect for relaxation.

• 11:30 AM: Head to Holiday Plaza for morning tea (average cost 💰50 per person). The taste is amazing, every bite is a delight.

• 2:00 PM: Return to the hotel for a nap 💤 to recharge.

• 3:00 PM: Go for an outdoor swim 🏊 to feel the coolness of the water and relax your body and mind.

• 5:00 PM: Check out Shiqi Park and Zhongshan Art Museum to experience the charm of nature and art.

• 6:00 PM: Enjoy the night view of the Qijiang River, feel the breeze on the bridge, or sip coffee at a riverside café while watching the sunset. It's very pleasant.

• 7:00 PM: Stroll along Sunwen West Road, admire the century-old arcade buildings, and taste snacks and drinks along the way. For dinner, you can randomly choose a street-side spot or enjoy local delicacies like pork noodles downstairs at the hotel.

🔻Day 2🔻

• 7:30 AM: Enjoy the hotel's buffet breakfast to fuel up for the new day.

• 9:00 AM: Visit Zhongshan Memorial Hall Park and Zhongshan Memorial Hall (free admission). If it's closed for maintenance, head directly to the museum across the street.

• 10:00 AM: Visit Zhongshan Museum, also free of charge, to learn about Zhongshan's history and culture.

• 12:00 PM: Head to Shengshi Village in Shaxi Town for lunch. Highly recommend freshly slaughtered beef, wontons, and sweet soup, costing between 💰15 - 60 per person. The taste is authentic.

• 2:00 PM: Stroll around Shengshi Village, check out the old archway and the Ruan family's old house, and feel the charm of the ancient village.

• 4:00 PM: Pack up and head back, ending the pleasant trip.
