Wandering around Zhongshan's literary streets|Encountering slow time around Xiangshan Study☕️

#Zhongshan Itinerary

The romance of Zhongshan is hidden in the fragrance of books and coffee on the street corners! Starting from Xiangshan Study, stroll along the surrounding literary streets. From the warm sunshine on the lawn during the day to the atmosphere at night, every step is a surprise.

📍First stop: Yongmo Xiangshan Study × Art Village

This study, which was converted from a Qing Dynasty ancestral hall, exudes ancient charm among the blue bricks and gray tiles. Pushing open the wooden door, the fragrance of tea and books hits you in the face. Green plants grown by the villagers are placed by the window, and any photo you take is a "Good and Quiet Time" theme movie.
📸Check-in point:

🌿Zimaling Park Xiangshan Study × Green Lawn

The study is hidden next to the large lawn in the park, and lush green scenery is outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. After reading, walk down the stairs and you will see a 40,000 square meter lawn. The sun shines through the leaves onto the picnic mat, making it a great place to spread out a plaid cloth for a "book picnic."
📸Check-in point:

• The "Book Corridor" on the side of the study, with vines climbing all over the iron frame, sitting on the railing with a book in hand, the picture is full of poetry

• The century-old lychee tree beside the lawn, with its thick branches and the glass curtain wall of the study, forms a contrast between the ancient and the modern

• The "Garden Cafe" at the entrance of the park has rattan tables and chairs on the outdoor terrace. Order a cup of "Lychee Americano" and watch tourists walk by with kites

Shiqi Xiangshan Bookstore × Literary Street at Night

As dusk engulfs the old city, warm yellow lights light up at the Xiangshan Study on Shiqi Street. The study is located in the Republic of China-style arcade street. The floor-to-ceiling windows reflect the street view. You can order a cup of hot cocoa, curl up in the corner, and watch the hustle and bustle of life through the window.
📸Check-in point:

• "Fengming Road" opposite the study, with neon signs and arcade carvings, is perfect for taking retro Hong Kong style portraits

• The "Second-Hand Warehouse" grocery store on the corner is filled with tin toys and old photos from the 1980s, perfect for taking nostalgic photos

• Walk 5 minutes to "Qijiang River", borrow a poetry book from the study, sit on the waterfront platform and read while watching the lights reflected on the river surface

𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬:

• Outfit suggestions: New Chinese cotton and linen long skirt (suitable for ancient village study), light-colored sweater + jeans (suitable for lawn), velvet dress (suitable for night arcade street)

• Coffee recommendation: Most of the small shops around the study offer "Zhongshan Limited" special blends, such as tangerine peel latte and lychee cold brew, don’t miss it!

• Best time: 3-5 pm on weekends (soft light and shadow on the lawn), 6-7 pm (the atmosphere is full after the lights on the arcade street)

In Zhongshan, the study is never an isolated island, but a cultural station connected to the warmth of the streets. Hold a book, take a sip of coffee, and slow down your pace - it turns out that poetry is in the aroma of coffee and the sound of turning pages around the corner.
