As dusk swept through the revolving doors of the hotel, I stood in the lobby, gazing up at the streamlined wooden patterns on the ceiling. Warm golden light cascaded down the curved structure, as if the entire sunset had been shattered and infused into the marble floor. The receptionist softly said, "Welcome," her voice filtered to a soothing gentleness.
Guest Rooms: An Artistic Space in Harmony with Comfort
The elevator stopped gently on the 13th floor. As I opened the door, I almost thought I had stepped into a Nordic design studio. A gray-blue fabric sofa adorned with deep-sea-like cushions, a round marble coffee table holding freshly cut apples and oranges glistening in a glass bowl, and a disposable bathtub cover printed with "Healthy Travel"—every detail exuded thoughtful care.
The most delightful surprise was the standalone bathtub in the bathroom. The thin-edged oval bathtub by O'Kerin resembled a ship docked in the clouds, while water droplets clung to the frosted glass of the adjacent shower room. Turning on the faucet, hot water infused with lavender fragrance overflowed the tub, washing away the day's fatigue in a cascade of bubbles.
Public Spaces: Brewing Time into Slow Wine
The laundry room on the 14th floor turned out to be my "healing discovery." Silver-gray washing machines lined up neatly, complete with hangers and an iron. On a weekend afternoon, sitting in a lounge chair watching the slow rotation of the washing machine drum became an oddly therapeutic experience.
The elevator lobby might be the hotel's most "luxurious" corner. Marble walls stretched up to the ceiling, mirrored stainless steel doors reflected the brass wall lamps in the hallway, and even the 30 seconds of waiting for the elevator became a visual treat. Not to mention the entire artistic wall in the lobby—textures of black, white, and gray interwoven with warm light pendant lamps, making every casual photo look like a magazine cover.
A Moment Before Departure
During checkout, the receptionist specifically asked, "Was your stay comfortable?" I looked out at the Sea Spring Bay Wetland through the glass window, where sunlight gilded the reeds in gold. Suddenly, I recalled the starry sky I had gazed at from the bathtub last night—turns out, a truly high-end hotel understands your unspoken thoughts with just one glance.
Tips: The hotel is located near Zhuhai Airport. It's recommended to plan a two-night stay—spend the day exploring the Sea Spring Bay Mystery Island Park and the evening soaking in the hotel bathtub while enjoying the wetland night view for a fully immersive experience!
