2 Adults and 2 Kids Weekend Trip to Zhuhai Chimelong

I've heard that after the National Day holiday is the off-season, so I planned a weekend self-driving trip to Zhuhai Chimelong. There really weren't many people, just a normal level, completely acceptable.

Tickets: Two kids, one 8 years old and one 4 years old, so we bought a 2 adults and 2 kids package. After much hesitation, we finally chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel, highly recommended! The kids liked these the most this time: 1. Jumping down from the pirate bed 2. The hotel's water park 3. The buffet.

Time: I originally thought they would love all the marine creatures in Ocean Kingdom and worried that two days wouldn't be enough. But it turned out they only cared about the air conditioning inside the pavilions and the snacks on the street. We arrived at the hotel around noon on Saturday, after eating we set off around 2 pm, and finished touring by about 6 pm. We went back for dinner and then watched the fireworks show, which was more than enough. On Sunday, we just played at the hotel's water park, and the kids had a blast, completely different from their mood at Ocean Kingdom on Saturday.

Tips:
1. The shuttle bus at Hengqin Bay Hotel is very convenient, basically running on demand, and the ride only takes three to four minutes. However, after the fireworks show, there is a queue for the shuttle bus, about 10 minutes.
2. You can activate entry on the app to enter the park and play before checking in, even if the order only has one person's information. This way, you can go straight to play without waiting in line at the hotel for check-in.
3. You can get a privilege from 88VIP and then get a gold card from the Chimelong app, so you can enjoy a 10% discount on in-park purchases.
4. After the fireworks show, you can stroll around the nearby shops or sit on a bench for a while before leaving, as there will be fewer people.
5. The water park has both indoor and outdoor areas. When going outdoors, remember to bring a bath towel, otherwise the kids will have to walk a bit after playing in the water, and in cold weather, they might catch a cold from the wind.
