Shanghai | A Must-Visit in Shanghai! Discover the Historic Charm of Zhujiajiao

When planning the trip, my friends and I agreed that we absolutely had to visit Zhujiajiao! Although it’s an hour and a half drive from Shanghai and we only had a tight three-day itinerary, which should have made us give up, we ultimately decided to take a trip to the outskirts to experience a different side of Shanghai! The scenery in Zhujiajiao is truly breathtaking. Watching the small boats take tourists along the river, passing under numerous bridges, and feeling the atmosphere of a town with 300 to 400 years of history, it felt like stepping into a place you’d only read about in Chinese history books—so poetic 🥰 We took tons of photos, and the shopping street also sells various unique snacks and souvenirs. The area is bigger than we expected, so spending half a day here is definitely worth it!
