The foot of Sheshen Cliff has always been the most mysterious place in Mount Emei, and various legends have been circulating for thousands of years. It is said that jumping from Sheshen Cliff can achieve immortality, so Sheshen Cliff has become one of the tourist attractions with the highest suicide rate in China.
Sheshen Cliff is the best place to view the sea of clouds and Buddha's light on the entire Golden Summit of Mount Emei. Its edge is the Vajra Mouth. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you feel as if you are suspended above the sea of clouds.
