Changting, Longyan, is one of the important cradles of the Chinese Revolution. Scattered throughout the city, Changting's revolutionary sites, each old building and each stone tablet, bears the memory of the revolution. Stepping into these sites feels like stepping back in time, into that passionate era.
The spirit of the martyrs can still be felt at sites like the former site of the Changting County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the former site of the Fujian Soviet Government. Within these simple buildings, great ideals and convictions were nurtured. This isn't a place of cold history, but a living spirit. Changting's historical sites are not merely a reminder of the past, but an inspiration for the present, reminding us to stay true to our original aspirations and forge ahead.
