I just came back from Lushan National Forest Park, and I have nothing to say about it. Speaking of a spontaneous hiking trip, what attracted me the most at first was:

Navigate to the location of Lushan National Forest Park (preferably the north gate), Chishang Town, Boshan District
It takes 2.5 hours to drive from Weifang through many tunnels, and about ten minutes after exiting the highway to reach the north gate of Lushan Park. We arrived at the north gate of Lushan Park at around 1 pm.
From the north gate, you can drive in and then climb (probably to save energy for less capable players). Go to the parking lot of the tourist service center and park. It is said to be 20$/car.
PS: During the May Day holiday, the staff informed us that there was a shortage of parking spaces on the mountain, so they dispatched buses to ferry people (park parking lot P North Gate -> Zaoshuyu transfer bus -> Tourist Service Center. The above journey takes about 40 to 50 minutes, and the round trip is 20/person)! (High-energy athletes) can get off at Zaoshuyu and start climbing. After all, it is more challenging from here. The whole journey takes about 5, 6 or 7 hours.

I really like it. There are all kinds of lush trees interlaced in the scenic area. There is no sign of being "disturbed" by commercialization in the whole scenic area.
You just need to climb quietly, look quietly, and feel the warmth of the wind carefully.
!!! Because it is not commercialized, there are no messy vendors inside. In addition to the tourist service center, there are some simple snacks at Tuochan Temple, so be sure to bring some snacks with you.
Recommended hiking routes:
UP! Go up from the right side (pass by the black pine forest, a line of sky, a maze of ten thousand stones... and reach the top of Guanyun Peak)
UP Go down the mountain from the left ~ Tuochan Temple
Fork in Yiyuan direction (towards Yiyuan)
Boshan direction (North Gate of Lushan Park)
PS: It takes about an hour and a half for ordinary people to climb this section of the road. (! There was a 4-year-old child in my team, who climbed and played slowly and took about 3 hours.) After going down the mountain, we lined up at the tourist service center waiting for the shuttle bus. The children played on the swings and hammocks at the door for a long time. For my kids and myself, going out is actually an "adventure". Going to a completely unfamiliar place, meeting different people, feeling and sharing, and then seeing each other again with nostalgia or happiness.
