Spring's splendor is at its peak.

My first visit to Daming Lake was greeted by a gentle breeze, carrying the lake's unique moist air, softly tugging at my clothes, instantly enveloping me in its poetic embrace.

The vast lake surface resembles a giant mirror, reflecting the sky and clouds. Sunlight spills down, making the lake shimmer and sparkle, with fragments of golden light dancing and flickering. In the distance, Thousand Buddha Mountain appears faintly, complementing the vast lake, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water, a natural ink painting.

Strolling along the lakeshore, I'm surrounded by weeping willows, their slender branches dipping into the water, swaying gently in the breeze, as if whispering to the lake. In the flowerbeds along the bank, colorful blossoms compete for attention, red like fire, pink like clouds, and white like snow. The rich fragrance attracts countless bees and butterflies, busily flitting among the flowers, adding a touch of vitality and vibrancy to the tranquil Daming Lake.

The lake is dotted with boats, carrying visitors leisurely admiring the scenery or capturing memories with laughter and smiles. I boarded a small boat, and with the rhythmic strokes of the oars, we glided towards the center of the lake. The boat cut through the water, creating ripples that spread outward, evoking a sense of drifting along the river of time, far from the hustle and bustle of the world.

The clear lake water reveals fish swimming freely, darting among the water plants or leaping out of the water, scattering sparkling droplets. The pavilions and towers along the lake's edge exude an ancient charm, with their upturned eaves, intricate brackets, and carved beams and painted rafters, appearing even more rustic and elegant against the backdrop of green trees. Sitting in a pavilion, gazing at the lake view, I couldn't help but wonder about the ancients who might have composed poems here, expressing their admiration for Daming Lake.

Daming Lake, you are the pearl of Jinan, carrying thousands of years of history and culture, soothing every visitor's heart with your tranquility and beauty.
