As soon as you step into the valley, you are overwhelmed by the vast sea of red. The entire mountain is covered with burning yellow smoke trees, from the foot to the top of the mountain. When the wind blows, the waves of leaves roll, dazzlingly red, and even the air seems to be dyed with a warm hue. Sunlight filters through the branches, making the red leaves glow brightly, with hints of gold, as if sprinkled with tiny fragments of light.

Climbing up the stone steps, the ground is covered with thick fallen leaves, soft to step on, and the rustling sound is especially soothing. The red leaves by the roadside are within reach; some have edges tinged with orange-yellow, some are deep purple-red, shaped like small fans. Picking a few and pressing them in a book is the best autumn souvenir.

Reaching the viewing platform halfway up the mountain, the view suddenly opens up. The distant mountains are dyed with layers of forest in red, yellow, and green, like a richly colored oil painting. The small village in the valley is hidden deep among the red leaves, with smoke curling from the rooftops, matching the red leaves to create a paradise on earth.

We met a few uncles carrying cameras, squatting by the roadside taking photos for a long time, murmuring "this light and shadow is amazing." There were also aunties dressed in bright clothes, posing among the red leaves, their laughter echoing through the valley, livelier than the red leaves.

Walking back at dusk, the sunset dyed the red leaves caramel-colored, and the path down the mountain looked like a red carpet. Looking back, the red leaves of Shianyu still shine brightly in the twilight, with only one thought in my heart: next late autumn, I must come again!
