The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a land of holiness and peace, where heaven and man are united. Walking into the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau seems to be moving from modernity to primitive, from civilization to mystery, and from impetuousness to calmness. This is not only the roof of the world, but also a holy place that countless people yearn for.

Although I have been to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau more than once, I have always dreamed of traveling there by car. In order to turn this dream into reality, a lot of basic preparations have been made in recent years, such as material and physical. Since the beginning of this year, after some intense planning and preparation, the trip was finally made in early June, and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau self-driving tour of "Sichuan in and out of Qinghai" was started. By July 12, the 39-day self-driving tour with a distance of 12,900 kilometers came to an end and returned smoothly.

This journey departed from Shantou City, Guangdong Province, and passed through 10 provinces including Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi, Hubei, Jiangxi and Guangdong. Although the time is only 39 days, it has experienced changes in the climate of spring, summer, autumn and winter throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from a cold winter of about zero degrees to a scorching heat of minus 38 degrees. The whole journey is 12,900 kilometers, with an average daily mileage of about 330 kilometers.

On this trip, I walked and played in these high-altitude places such as western Sichuan and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for nearly one month. There are more than 20 mountains spanning more than 4,000 meters above sea level, including 8 mountains above 5,000 meters above sea level. The highest altitude and longest stay is the Everest Base Camp, at an altitude of 5,200 meters; The highest altitude for overnight accommodation is the county seat of Amdo, which is 4,800 meters above sea level.

This journey not only fulfilled the dream, but also experienced the Chinese landscape scroll and landscape avenue of 30 degrees north latitude and National Highway 318. Travel through the vast grassland, over the majestic mountains, appreciate the picturesque Tibetan villages, and feel the distance like poetry and song. All the way forward, the harvest is full. Exclaim the danger, marvel at its beauty. It is a rare tempering and experience in life, and at the same time, it also writes beautiful memories of life.
