On the afternoon of arriving at Xia River, we went to the nearby Baishi Cliff, a scenic spot that we had not been to before, so it was still a bit fresh.
When driving along the path to the destination, you can see a row of cliffs in the distance, they are similar in size, uniform in color, close to each other, like a neat line, looking to the right, Soldiers who are always ready to shake their heads and report the numbers.
There is a temple at the foot of the cliff and a large grassy slope. It is empty and uninhabited, windy, and has a vast and vast feeling. At this time, dark clouds were at the forefront, and a shower was about to erupt, and a long row of white stone cliffs turned blue-black.
We walked along the grassy slope and found a lot of grazing sheep on the higher hill opposite, so we climbed to that hill.

There are many clusters of pink flowers blooming in clusters in the shape of a circle on this grass, and when I came back to check, I found out that it has a scary name: wolf poison flower, because the rhizome is poisonous, cattle and sheep do not eat it.
Returning to the parking lot in front of the temple from the foot of the cliff, we saw a groundhog sticking its head out of a hole in the gutter. Labrang Monastery is the main attraction of Xia River, one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and retains the best Tibetan Buddhist teaching system.
It is a mysterious temple for tourists and a stately academy for monks.
The second time you come here, you will still be surprised by its huge size and bright temples. There are many tourists who enter the temple early in the morning, and the docents who come every half hour are also surrounded by airtightness.
The main hall of the lecture hall can seat thousands of people at the same time, and the only inner hall where you can take pictures is the butter flower exhibition hall.

The hillside outside the west gate offers a panoramic view of the temple. I tried to replicate a panorama of Labrang Temple taken by Ant in 2010, but found that the road has become wider and the urban construction is different, so it is difficult to capture the tranquility of that year.
From the Xia River to Langmu Temple, you will pass through the Sangke grassland. But this time it was the Sanke Wetland that caught our attention.
The viewing boardwalk along the way allows you to see the reflection of the mountain up close.
When the sun was shining, the calm water was still reflected in the blue sky and white clouds.
Later, when passing through the Guo Mang Wetland, the clouds began to thicken, and the winding rivers and grasslands were overshadowed by the lack of filters.
In such a journey without stopping step by step, every day is like opening a blind box. What kind of weather each attraction encounters is completely random, and which side of it you see depends on fate, just like blind dating depends on luck.
Langmusa Temple is not a specific temple, but a small town located at the junction of Gamcheon. There are two Langmu Temples here, north of the Bailongjiang River is Gansu Langmu Temple, whose real name is Saichi Temple, and south of Bailongjiang is Sichuan Langmu Temple, formerly known as Gerdi Temple.
Gansu Langmu Temple is relatively high and magnificent, you can visit the temple and observe the mysterious heavenly burial.
Sichuan Langmu Temple is relatively quaint, and the interior is not fully open, but you can enter the Namo Grand Canyon from here.
The B&B we stayed at Langmu Temple could see the red stone cliff from the window.

On our last trip to Gannan, we watched the sunset here and were very impressed, and we also experienced a one-day horseback riding trip to the source of the Bailongjiang River.

But because of the limited time, horseback riding and hiking can only choose one option, and in the end we chose to hike, because hiking can take pictures more freely, and making up for regrets seems to be another meaning of revisiting.
The next morning, the weather changed from the gloomy weather of the past two days, and when we set off for the Grand Canyon of Namo, the whole sky cleared.
Hiking in such sunshine is really happy.

Suddenly remembered that I had walked through a section of the canyon here back then, but because it was evening and the weather was normal, I stopped and hurriedly turned back. Today we can finally explore the depths.
The further you go, the more dangerous the canyon becomes, and the mountains become concrete at this time. The depths of the canyon also become quieter, and in addition to the sound of flowing water, you can also hear the crisp chirping of birds.
Yesterday I read a small ancient text with my baby, and when I saw this description, I felt that it was particularly in line with the scene of canyon hiking that day: "The mountains on both sides of the river are all cold trees, and they compete with each other, Strive for heights and point straight, thousands of peaks. The stone road in the valley is not easy to walk, but it also gives it a little sense of conquest.
There are occasional flat grassy slopes in the valley, and the steepness of the mountain peaks in the distance and the width of the grass near them form a picture of contrast but unusually harmony. And the characters in the wilderness have become a small but difficult to ignore embellishment.
The first resting point is also a large open lawn with Tibetan tents and their horses. Many tourists returned the same way after arriving here to rest. We decided to move on.
Not far away, I saw several tourists feeding marmots with snow cakes. Although it is not recommended to do this, I couldn't help but step forward and take a picture when I saw the cute appearance of the emoticons holding the food and crunching.
It takes quite a long time to walk from the first rest point to the second rest point. However, the scenery is not compromised, stopping and walking all the way, taking pictures and resting does not feel tired, and there is no feeling of high reaction.
Again to the open lawn, the peaks almost circled it, and there was a round hole on the top of a high mountain, which was amazing.

With such satisfaction, we left Langmu Temple after noon. As soon as I left the scenic spot, the sky changed, not only was there dark clouds, but there was also a hailstorm. The reason why I hurried to leave was to reserve time to drive the famous local "Little Duku Highway".
This is a country road that will not be recommended to you by navigation. The specific location is from Tiebu Town to Ruoergehua Lake, because the road is narrow and the scenery along the way is called "Little Duku" by tourists.
It turns out that the name is not false. First of all, it is not easy to drive, except for the winding and winding, some sections are close to the cliff, the most important thing is that the lane is too narrow, most places can only pass one car, so pay special attention to the opposite car, once encountered, you must cooperate with each other to find a suitable meeting point, courtesy to pass.
But the scenery is worth it. The first half of the road is like hiding in a dense forest, with towering pine trees on both sides filtering the sunlight, and the whole environment is calm and deep. In the second half of the road, the road gradually opened up, and along the way, not only car coffee shops were encountered, but also people parked on the side of the road, camping facing the forest.
At a parking point, we came down and found that the grassy slope in the opposite valley was quite similar to the "My Altay" scene. Such a replacement is both kind and amazing.
The end of this section of the road is the beginning of the Ruoerge Grassland, with two facing stone cliffs in the distance. The clouds float on the top of the mountain, as if within reach.
Here the eyes can only see the distance, and the mind will only drift into the distance.
Ruoerge Grassland is not a specific attraction, but an area. It's hard for you to say where you've been to the Ruoerge Grassland, but as long as you see the endless green that stretches to the horizon, you know you've come.
On the third day of the trip, we walked through the canyon, drove through the forest, and finally came to the open and boundless grassland, and the switching and contrast of scenery was emotional and shocking.
The road on the grassland is straight and unobstructed, with an unobstructed view of the surroundings. You can see the sun at the end of the sky, the clouds, and the weather dozens of kilometers away.
The grassland was bright and bright on a sunny day, while the dark clouds on the other side obscured the sun, and Tyndall's light fell like rays.
Further forward, I saw a hole in the clouds, light pouring down from the hole, and the dark clouds at the top were gloomy and surging.
Then, there is an area below the front cloud that looks like water pouring down from the sky, and a fine bead curtain connects the thick clouds to the ground.
We drove all the way into the dark clouds, from spectators to witnesses, and then from witnesses to experiencers. It's a magical feeling.
The most amazing thing about that day was that we watched the lightning in the distance. The first time was when the ant saw a long, bright lightning bolt in the clouds ahead while driving. After that, we got out of the car to rest, saying that it would be nice if we could capture lightning.
I pressed the video button and waited for a response from the clouds in the distance, and as soon as I finished saying "come to a lightning", a lightning bolt really appeared in the clouds. It was as fast as a meteor, catching people off guard, and even if they saw it, they would wonder if they really saw it just now, until the visual nerve was transmitted to the brain, and the brain reacted after analysis, and the scream in the mouth had been delayed for a few seconds.
Just because it is as fleeting as a meteor, if it is not staring in the same direction all the time, everyone will see lightning differently. Guan Guan said that he saw a blue ball of lightning in the car, which made us envious.
Tangke Town is the foothold to watch the first bay of the Yellow River, and the last time we chartered a car here to watch a sunset by the Yellow River.
This time it's just a short stay at night. There is a space capsule in the temporarily booked parent-child room, which I like very much.
Early in the morning I ran along the White River opposite the hotel and saw the sunrise.
Although we didn't go to the first bay of the Yellow River, we found a replacement scenic spot "Manze Pond". It is more than 60 kilometers away from Tangke Town and is a scenic spot that has not yet been officially opened, and only registration is required during the trial operation period, and no tickets are charged. There are two giant yak statues at the gate of the scenic spot, which are very conspicuous. After entering, the car can drive all the way to the highest observation deck.
There are very few cars on this road, the road is straight, and the clouds on the horizon are large, thick and strong, and they show a variety of magical shapes, some like auspicious beasts, some like dinosaurs.
With such a background, people seem to have entered the comics.
The road is lined with wildflower-filled grasslands and wetlands with meandering rivers.
The river here is not the Yellow River but Jiaqu.
Cattle and sheep grazing, reflected by the river, such a scene is very photogenic.
Stopping all the way, driving to the highest observation deck, it was almost noon.
Looking down from a high place, you can see the winding posture of Jiaqu on the grassland.
Here, you will only regret the limited lens that cannot hold all that the eye sees.
Some landscapes are not fragments, not parts, but the shock brought by the whole, and the limited frame at this time cannot reproduce the magnificence of the real scene.
Even if it is regrettable, the flutter of the mind caused by the visual impact is still difficult to erase.
There are also two open-air awnings on the observation deck, where we solved lunch, blowing the breeze, overlooking the grassland, eating instant noodles, so comfortable, I have proven that where you eat is more important than what you eat.
Most tourists who come to Aba County in Aba Prefecture come to Lianbao Yeze, and we are no exception. Because I arrived half a day early, I went to Gemo Temple ten kilometers away.
This Xiaohongshu attraction has only recently become well-known, because it is remote, no one will make a special trip here, and they basically pass by by the road. But everyone who has been here will be blown away by its grandeur. The low-key reputation and explosive inner world have never stopped us from exclaiming from the moment we enter the door.
From the outside, the thirty-five-meter-high main hall of the Gomo Monastery gives people a solemn and sacred feeling. Intricate decorations, extended corridors, empty squares, and thick nanmu columns in front of the hall highlight its low-key and luxurious in every detail.
However, what is even more shocking is the furnishings inside the main hall. In the impression, the light in the lecture hall of the Tibetan temple is relatively dark, and in addition to transparent lighting, there is also advanced lighting, coupled with new murals, and spotless furnishings make the whole hall have a sense of déjà vu of the Great Hall.
Maitreya seated Buddha in the center of the hall is the tallest indoor Buddha statue in China, which is shining with golden light, kind eyes and dignified eyes, which is admirable. Take the elevator to different floors (yes, it also has an elevator.) You can see the Big Buddha from different angles. No matter what angle you look at, you can't help but admire its spectacle.
The highest floor of the main hall is the monastery's museum, with various stupas and beautifully decorated artifacts.
The temple is currently open to the public for free, but there are not many tourists. After visiting the main hall, just in time for the rainstorm, we said goodbye to it in a mist of water.

The lotus leaves are the remnants of the Guoluo Mountains, a branch of the Bayankara Mountains, and are one of the top ten sacred mountains in Tibet. During the peak season, self-driving cars can only drive to the first parking lot, and you can only take a shuttle bus to the summit observation deck.
In order to secure a parking spot at the summit observation deck, we set off early in the morning. It had just rained overnight the day before, and I didn't expect much from today's weather. However, on the way to drive, I was still very excited to watch the sky clear little by little, and the fog on the mountainside fluttered like a ribbon.
After entering the scenic spot, I planned to drive all the way to the end, but when I saw Luoxia Lake halfway, I immediately changed my plan. All the way to the lake, the mountains covered in clouds are clearly reflected on the water, and the perfect reflection makes people scream.
This is too good-looking, I was hit by such a visual impact early in the morning, and suddenly felt that it didn't matter whether I could park at the highest observation deck.
After staying by the lake for a long time, I continued to drive to the Panyangping parking lot, but fortunately it was not the peak season and there were enough parking spaces. After parking the car, I took another shuttle bus to the 4520 observation deck. The reason why it is called 4520 is because the altitude here is 4520 meters, and this is also the highest place on our trip, put on all the clothes.
Standing here, you can overlook the sea in the deep mountains: Zagar Wrong. There is a quiet and deep blue pool in the bleak stone mountains, like a crystal delicate gem embedded in a rough but stunningly shaped pedestal, there is a kind of contrasting beauty.
The photos taken from this angle are beautiful, but they are not distinguishable because all the photos taken by tourists are similar. Fortunately, we waited until the sky cleared in the background, and with the blessing of the blue sky, the mountains looked much milder.
However, this good luck did not last long, and when we went down to Lake Zagar Tso, the accumulated rain poured down and showed no signs of stopping. We waited for a long time on the shore of the lake, but we still couldn't hold on until the dark clouds passed.
However, on the way out of the scenic spot, the sky cleared up again.
Passing by the Aba rape flower production base, I made up for a rape flower field under the blue sky and white clouds, making up for the regret of raining here the day before.

are more than 400 kilometers from Aba to Jiuzhaigou, so we will transfer to Ruoerge Town a day in advance. From Ruoerge to Jiuzhai, I chose a Jiuruo Road that was not easy to drive.
The first section is very similar to the "Little Duku", a bit like a forest road, but the road surface is relatively wide. Passing through several townships, when I stopped, I found an RV next to it, and there was a Labrador in it, and the owner didn't know where it went. The body is printed with a Douyin number, and after searching on the Internet, it is actually a travel blogger, and the newly posted videos are about the Ruoerge Grassland.
After that, I kept going around the mountain, the highest pass was more than 4,000 meters, and the mountain was foggy, and the visibility was ultra-low, like walking through the clouds.
Coming down from the fog in the clouds, returning to the yang world, and then going around countless turns, you will arrive at another rarely visited scenic spot on this trip: the Immortal Pool.
The reason why it is said to be a replacement is because its scenery has the characteristics of Huanglong and the shadow of Jiuzhai, but because of its small size and lack of well-known, there are not many tourists who come.
It takes one to two hours to walk around the entire scenic spot, and there are five main attractions: Yaochi, Qinglong Sea, Liantai Fairy Pool, Fairy Pond (Nenen Sangcuo) and Divine Frog Sea.
Yaochi and Liantai Immortal Pool are both calcified pools, similar in image to yellow dragons, and the color is comparable, but the area is much smaller. The water and platform of Yaochi are relatively dark, and they are almost meaningful in terms of aesthetics.
But the water in the lotus platform fairy pool is pure Tiffany blue, which feels more fairy.
Qinglong Sea is more like the sea of Jiuzhai, with deep water and green trees.
The color of the fairy pool is very similar to the sea of five-flowered flowers, and the underwater calcification trees are similar.
The Sea of Divine Frogs is the largest, but its characteristics are not obvious enough.
It is only an hour's journey from the Immortal Pool to Jiuzhai, and you will pass through a fairy tale road called "Twenty-Eight Bends".
From the observation deck, you can overlook the neat twenty-eight bends, but when you really drive it, you will feel that it is decent, far less than the various irregular sharp turns on Jiuruo Road.
In the evening when I arrived at Jiuzhaigou, I saw a rainbow and saw a double rainbow hanging in the clear sky, which was both a surprise and a kind of comfort that came true.
In the autumn of 2007, Ant and I came to Jiuzhai once, and we who had not yet experienced more scenery were shocked by its beauty again and again. Even after so many years, the beauty value of Jiuzhai landscape still ranks high in my mind, and it is one of the few destinations that are willing to brush it twice. This time, we took the baby to see it again, and subconsciously had the expectation of being amazed again.
However, after the first day of the tour, I posted this emotion in my circle of friends: Just like when you were young, you couldn't meet people who were too amazing. Don't experience too amazing scenery too soon. Because the benchmark in memories is too high, it is difficult to surpass reality again.
Although compared with the colorful nine villages in the autumn seventeen years ago, the green nine villages in the summer are now a little monotonous, but after all, it is a nine villages, and the appearance can still be played. The colorful sea and the rushing waterfalls are all fairyland-like existences, which make people marvel, indulge, and linger.
In the former Jiuzhai travelogue, I compared the sea here to the twelve gold hairpins in the Grand View Garden. This time I visited the beauties again, but found that their recent situation had been subtly different. In the past seventeen years, they have experienced two major earthquakes, their appearance has changed slightly, and even the temperament of some Haizi has changed.
For example, the sea of sparks, which was once smart and small, and I regarded it as "Sister Qiao", has now become larger, and the level of the waterfall has also been upgraded. It seems to have grown from a petite soft girl to a mature royal sister.
The reason for this change is that during the 17-88 earthquake, it was knocked out of a large gap, and later experts used special materials to fill this hole. Only then did the appearance of the sea of sparks be maintained. Fortunately, the water flow here was photographed back then, and it is still there.
For example, the colorful pool in the dry season does not have the previous plump and dominant temperament, even if the water color is still beautiful, but the surrounding exposed soil seems to be quite defeated, It really looks like Wang Xifeng who fell from the clouds into mud, and his proud look still can't hide the ruins of reality.
For example, the sea of the last season, which disappeared during the low water period, is like the end of the final whereabouts of the arrogant Miaoyu, and her beautiful appearance can only remain in the memory.
Of course, most of the lakes and waterfalls are as beautiful as ever, and no amount of vicissitudes can change their good looks.
For example, in the morning, on a sunny day, the mirror sea has been maintained as "the windless mirror on the surface of the pool is unpolished", like a mirror that is always clear and bright. And it is also the first sea to enjoy the comfort of the sun.
Compared with the clear mirror sea, the rhinoceros sea is not only calm and restrained, but also reflects the reflection side, and has more varied water colors. Standing on the highway observation deck, it is a graceful blue.
From the direction of the plank road, it shows a higher concentration of milky green.
The Grass Sea and the Swan Sea are like a pair of sisters who look alike, and they are characterized by aquatic plants and dark blue calcified funnels. The difference is that there is more grass in the Fangcao Sea, and the water in the Swan Sea is more beautiful.
This section of the plank road is quiet and few, and you can hear the sound of the stream and the chirping of birds.
There is also a sense of familiarity with the unknown seas and waterfalls in Shuzhenggou.
The first day of the tour of Jiuzhai ended in heavy rain, and the sea of arrows and bamboos and pandas passed in a hurry, which is very regrettable.
It was my first time staying at the Gou Nei B&B that night, and it was fresh and nervous, but the quiet environment made for a good night's sleep.
I got up early in the morning and saw the morning mist in the mountains, and I felt that I could do it again.
Changhai is the largest sea in Jiuzhai, the highest altitude and the largest area. The temperament of its mother is incomparable to other seas. In the early morning, it is surrounded by mountains and shrouded in fog, with a graceful and deep beauty.
Wuhuahai has always been the face of Jiuzhai Haizi, even if the surrounding beauties are still outstanding.
It is colorful but not vulgar, the same lake and clear water, can also be green in a variety of layers, and all angles can withstand the test of the camera, It really belongs to the contestants who are chasing after the food, and they can win a lot without much effort.
When I walked to the Sea of Flowers the day before, it caught up with the rain, and it still maintained a beautiful demeanor in the water mist.
The next morning, taking advantage of the clear weather, I went to see the sea of flowers again, giving the beauty enough face, and she lived up to expectations, showing more gorgeous colors in the sun.

Nuorilang is the central area of Jiuzhai, where there is the only service center in the panoramic area, and the Nuorilang Waterfall, which is famous throughout the country for "Journey to the West". Compared with other waterfalls in Jiuzhai, Nuorilang Waterfall is characterized by being wide enough, although the drop is not very large, but the momentum is powerful. In the morning, you can also see the rainbow on the waterfall from the side angle.
There is an observation deck across the road where you can see the panoramic view of Norirang Falls and the Hizegou Sea, and the top of the sea is the Mirror Sea.
This observation deck is not very conspicuous and there are not many signs, so few tourists know about it, and I found it after asking the locals and staff.
Pearl Beach is also one of the highlights of Jiuzhai, where strings of water droplets fall from the slopes of the tidal flats, and under the sunlight, they are like crystal pearls sprinkled on the world. From Pearl Beach and further down, you will see Pearl Beach Waterfall. It is a boulder that rolled down the mountain during the Jiuzhaigou earthquake in 17, and now you can still see the deep imprints of it rolling down all the way down in the valley, which makes people feel the power of nature.
