We have been to Chengdu many times, and this trip to Chengdu did not choose the attractions in the urban area, such as Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, etc., which have been there before. So, I didn't go all this time.

This trip is mainly to visit the natural attractions around Chengdu. I originally thought about traveling by bus, but it was too troublesome, so I finally chose to pick up the car from a certain Hi Shuangliu Airport and rent a car to drive.

It was almost evening when we arrived in Chengdu that day, and we found a hotel directly in the city to stay. The next day, drive to Tongmagou.

Tongmagou

Tongmagou is located in Puyang Town, Dujiangyan City, which is about three or four kilometers away from the city, and the mountains are full of Cuizhugou Creek and clear water. There are nearly 5,000 acres of "Shuxi Bamboo Sea", which is an excellent place to escape the heat in summer and a paradise for hiking enthusiasts.

There

are two paths for Tongmagou hiking, one is a parent-child light hiking route, the whole journey is 2-3 kilometers, mainly paved stone roads, which are very suitable for playing with children and the elderly.

The second is the ring line: there are large loops and small loops, the whole length of the big ring line is about 13 kilometers, called wild roads, almost completely through the mountains, and you need to have a certain amount of physical strength.

The

small ring line is a combination of three different sections: health trail (paved stone road), cement road and wild road, with a total distance of about 6.4 kilometers, of which the cement road is the longest. I took the small loop line this time, which took nearly 3 hours.

There is a farmhouse at the door: a fence garden. You can go up the mountain along the creek next to the farmhouse, or you can take the road up the mountain. Seeing the "Tongmagou Zhuhai Park", I hiked up along the road from here, although it was a highway, there were no cars at all, so you can walk with confidence. We kept walking along the road, and when we encountered a fork in the road, we went to the left until we reached the end of the cement road. The highest point is 940 meters above sea level.

The road is not difficult, the scenery is very good, and it is suitable for all ages, but most of them go back the same way when they reach the end of the road. When I reached the end of the cement road, I entered the woods, and because I had done my homework before traveling, I walked in without hesitation.This time, it mainly relies on a two-step hiking map, although there are also wrong paths, but they can be corrected in time and there is no danger.

This place is a niche scenic spot, and the flow of people on holidays is not large, as you can imagine today. Except for two people at the farmhouse at the door, there was no one in sight in the whole mountain after going up the mountain, especially walking on the wild road, I was still a little frightened, and occasionally wanted to return the same way, but finally persevered.

We started hiking up the mountain at 13:30 pm, and after 16:00, we returned to Beiyuan. We will come to Tongmagou again and strive to take a big loop next time.

A day of hiking down is very comfortable. Then, I drove directly back to Chengdu. The next day, continue hiking.

Shangyuan Ancient Road

The

Shangyuan Ancient Road, which can be heard from the name, is a niche forest hiking route, oxygen inhalation and lung cleansing, and negative oxygen ions burst. There are many private parking lots, try to go forward as much as possible and park at the T-junction (there is a canteen on the right side of the intersection).

It is most convenient to park here, as it can be used as a starting point or end point, such as going to the right, climbing the mountain counterclockwise, and going to the left is clockwise. Parking fee 10 yuan.

Follow the road on the right for about 100 meters, and there is a stone ladder road on the left that is the entrance. There are fir forests, bamboo forests, boulders, and sycamore trees along the way; The route I took was the shortest, so when encountering a fork, keep left (uphill stage).

There are signage all the way: pay attention to these signs every time you reach an intersection, some of which are not very conspicuous. These signs are left by hiking enthusiasts. From Zhonghuang Temple to Shanghuang Temple, along the way is the ancient forest road like the Wizard of Oz, and the road is lined with towering trees.

The books are fir wood, and a tree has a sign that says it is registered in 2000 and is 1,300 years old.

Shanghuang Temple: It is currently a new temple. Originally, I wanted to knock down the house when I walked to the Shanghuang Temple, but I met the local Brother Huang and his party (visiting a friend's house on the top of the mountain) at the Shanghuang Temple, and when I heard that we came for the first time, they enthusiastically asked us to be guides, encouraging us to go to the top to see, and insisted on taking us to the top, and said that there was a fairy cave on the top of the mountain that only the locals knew.

With the lobbying and encouragement of the eldest brother, we decided to reach the top. The eldest brother has been introducing along the way: the mountain forest from the Shanghuang Temple to the top of the mountain is the largest ecological planting base of Chinese medicinal materials in Sichuan Province; On weekends, there will be a lot of hiking here; There is a fairy cave ...... at the top of the mountain

I saw this billboard at the top of the mountain. The location of the top of the mountain is not marked on the two-step map, and can only be determined according to the contour line, which is 1,400 meters above sea level.

Going down next to the street sign, there are no obvious road tracks, only the locals know where it is, it is naturally formed and unfathomable. It is said that in 2007, the official organization of an expedition was organized, but due to the depth of the cave, it was not successful...

Descending: After saying goodbye to the eldest brother, we descend the mountain. After a section of dirt road, the scenery along the way is very healing, and you can enjoy it slowly. Personally, I think that instead of being lively in the city, it is really better to breathe negative oxygen ions directly in the natural scenery.

The distance is 8.57 km according to the trajectory of the two-step path. It took us more than 3 hours from the foot of the mountain to the top, and 1 hour and 40 minutes to descend, a total of less than 5 hours. (This is still the shortest hike).

Road conditions: stone steps + dirt road + gravel road + forest path + short-distance road. Be sure to download the route, there is no signal on the mountain. Be sure to watch the weather, it is not recommended to go on rainy days, as some sections of the road will be slippery.

Longyi Mountain

continued to hike on the third day and chose Longyi Mountain. It is said that the mountain here is called "Dragon Chair Mountain" because it resembles a chair, and is now an abandoned botanical garden, with a forest coverage rate of more than 95%, lush plants in the forest, few people and quiet, very suitable for hiking "forest" breathing.

Before coming, I checked the relevant route introduction, Longyi Mountain is a light hiking route, the whole road condition is good, and the slope is not large.

There are two main hiking routes: one is the Longyi Mountain Loop, along the parking lot halfway up the mountain along the stone ladder, passing through the Fairy Hall, abandoned buildings, Fushou Hall to the top and then going down the trail, passing through the Internet celebrity attraction "Forest Gate" and returning to the parking lot, this loop is about 2.5 kilometers and takes 1.5 hours;

the other route is through Longquan Mountain, the distance can be long or short, you can go to Baoshi Lake, Changsong Temple, Longquan Yangtianwo, etc., with a total length of more than 10 kilometers to 30 kilometers. We took the Longyi Mountain Loop, which took 3 hours.
