This is my fourth time in Chengdu.
In 2008, I sent my nephew to Neijiang Normal University to study, in 2010 I received small loan knowledge training, in 2011 I went to Leshan, Emei Mountain, Dujiangyan, Jinsha Ruins, Anren Ancient Town and Chunxi Road, Jinli, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, etc. in the urban area, but they were all in a hurry and did not play in depth. Chengdu is a famous historical and cultural city in China, with many tourist attractions, and also has historical sites and cultural landscapes such as Wuhou Temple, Yongling, Wangjiang Tower, Qingyang Palace, Wenshu Temple, Ming Shu King's Mausoleum, Zhaojue Temple, etc., and is also the habitat of Sichuan giant pandas. Chengdu, a tourist destination, is not enough to go to many times.
Since last year, Bank G has issued 5,000 yuan of travel vouchers to employees every year. After going to Dalian in August and visiting Zhejiang in November, there are still nearly 1,000 yuan left. Traveling to the south in winter, there are few people in the off-season, and the direct air ticket to Chengdu in Luliang is very cheap, so I decided to go to Chengdu again.
1. Luxurious --- Tianfu Airport
Departed from home at 8:00 a.m. on December 8 and flew to Chengdu from 10:30 to 12:45. Tianfu Airport will be opened to traffic in June 2021, the airport is very large, with high-speed rail, subway, bus, bus and other means of transportation, is one of the top five large airports in China, full of modernity and intelligence. I got off the plane and walked for more than half an hour. Then take Metro Line 18, Line 9, 5 and check in to the hotel until 15:00.
This time I came to Chengdu and wanted to go to Jiuzhaigou, but it was too far, it rained almost every day, the weather was cold, and I was not interested in traveling alone, so I looked forward to the next time.
Rested in the hotel until the evening, hungry. Chengdu is a food paradise, but there is no suitable place. When I came to Chengdu, I had to make meat, and I went to a self-service hot pot restaurant called Tan Sanniang's fresh-cut beef, which was nothing more than that. I ate dragon fried hands, Yibin burning noodles, etc., the lights were on, and the rain and fog were hazy.
2. A wake-up shock --- Sanxingdui
I woke up early before 5 o'clock the next day. Depart at 9 o'clock and take a direct bus to Sanxingdui near Chunxi Road. I lingered in the museum for more than 4 hours and returned at 18 o'clock.
Sanxingdui has become famous at home and abroad in recent years, refreshing the public's understanding of the long history and splendid civilization of ancient Shu again and again. I once watched a documentary about Sanxingdui on CCTV, and I had some impressions. But seeing is better than seeing, and watching it up close deeply amazes and is impressed by the history and culture of Sanxingdui. Bronze sacred tree, bronze dali, sun wheel, bronze mask, golden staff, bronze longitudinal mask, bronze head with a gold mask, jade side zhang of the mountain sacrifice, pottery three-legged cooker, bronze altar...... The variety of rare treasures is breathtaking. The Sanxingdui site is a common treasure of all mankind, which is currently being declared a world heritage site and has become a new tourist landmark business card in our country, calling friends from all over the world to flock to it.
4. Remember the history --- Jianchuan Museum
Today is the third day in Chengdu. Departing from the Chadianzi Passenger Station early in the morning, we arrived at the Jianchuan Museum in more than an hour. After 5 hours of touring, walking 16,000 steps, we returned to the city at 19:30.
Mr. Fan Jianchuan is a native of Xing County, Shanxi Province, his father is a veteran of Shanxi during the Liberation War, he was born in Yibin, Sichuan, he went to the countryside, served as a soldier, taught, and became an official, and in 1993 he resigned from his official position to do business for the sake of collecting, and has won honorary titles such as "100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs in the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up", and is one of China's richest people. 30 years of hard work to build the largest private museum in China, the value is immeasurable. Opened in 2005, the museum covers an area of 500 acres, with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters, and has a collection of more than 10 million pieces, including 6,007 national precious cultural relics, which is a national first-class museum and a 5A-level scenic spot. The museum is themed around the theme of "For peace, collect war; For the future, collect lessons; For tranquility, collect disasters; In order to inherit and collect folk customs", 33 themed exhibition halls, squares and exhibitions have been built and opened to the history of the Communist Party of China, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Long March of the Red Army, earthquake relief, reform and opening up, etc., which have become an important place and a beautiful cultural business card to carry forward the spirit of the Red Army's Long March, the War of Resistance, and the spirit of earthquake relief.

The ticket is valid for three days, the museum is too big, even if you walk around to see the flowers, you have to spend a whole day, physical strength is not good, time is limited, in nearly 6 hours, I roughly visited 14 museums, accounting for 60% of the 23 museums open to the public (italics marked). I can't even take care of lunch, it's really tiring.
The memorable halls are:
Frontal Battlefield Hall. It mainly shows the 22 major battles of the Kuomintang army in the War of Resistance, subverting the long-term perception of the national war of resistance. I remembered the famous saying: "If the war begins, it means that there is no distinction between the north and the south, the age is not divided into old and young, no matter who it is, everyone has the responsibility to defend the land and resist the war, and they should all be determined to sacrifice everything!" ”
Unyielding Prisoner of War Museum. With a particularly heavy and depressed mood, I visited the Indomitable Prisoner of War Hall, war, cannot be without prisoners of war, they not only endure physical torture, but also spiritual destruction, some soldiers are treated unfairly until death, but their national integrity is magnificent, and they are well-deserved national heroes.
Sichuan Army Anti-Japanese War Hall. The strings of vivid numbers are shocking and awe-inspiring:
300,000 Sichuan troops went to Sichuan to fight against Japanese aggression, and 3,000,000 strong men rushed to the front line.
The number of peopleparticipating in the war and the tragic sacrifices of the Sichuan army ranked first in the country, accounting for one-fifth of the total number of anti-Japanese troops in the country, ranking first in the country.
According to statistics, in the eight years of the Anti-Japanese War, Sichuan sent a total of about 3.4 million troops, accounting for more than 20% of the country's conscription. One in every 5 or 6 people in the frontal anti-Japanese army was a Sichuan person. On average, one in 17 Sichuan people goes to the front line.
In the 8-year War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Sichuan army soldiers went north to Jianmen, crossed Wuxia in the east, and fought 70,000 miles, covering 13 provinces in the north and south of the river. He participated in 28 large-scale battles against the Japanese army on the Chinese battlefield and guarded 1/5 of the country's front-line battlefields.
Wang Zhecheng, a peasant in Beichuan County, gave his son Wang Jiantang a "death" flag: a large "death" word was written in the middle of the white cloth flag, and the flag read: "The country is in crisis, and the Japanese invaders are hideous." The rise and fall of a nation depends on the individual's fate. I originally wanted to serve, but I was too old. Fortunately, I have a son, and I feel like I want to be a leader. The most shocking is the Chinese Warriors Group Sculpture Square, where 216 national heroes of the Anti-Japanese War stand, which is the formation of steel, might, unity, and victory! The Chinese people are here, bow their heads and pay tribute!
In addition, the three-inch golden lotus pavilion, The New China Daily Necessities Museum, the Educated Youth Life Hall, etc., all make people go back to the past era, do not forget history, and carry forward the past!
The collection of the Jianchuan Museum is tens of millions, Each collection has a gripping story that is engraved with a history that shakes the past and present, and you will definitely go back if you have the opportunity.
5. Shu Fengshui Town--- Huanglongxi Ancient Town
From the Internet, there are many ancient towns around Chengdu, today is December 11th, go to Huanglongxi Ancient Town.
The ancient town is located in Shuangliu District, and you can take the No. 5 Metro Huilong Station from the city to the 18/S18 bus directly. This is one of the top ten ancient water towns in China, with a history of 2,000 years. A stream in the center of the town flows from west to east, from high to low, adding infinite vitality and aura to the ancient town. The banks of the stream are lined with trees, shops, all kinds of stone bridges, stone slabs, wooden planks, jumping stones, etc., and the traffic on both sides of the river creates the colorful characteristics of the ancient town, simple and lively, quiet and gentle. The sky suddenly cleared up after a few days of rain, and the warm winter sun was particularly enchanting.
There are no tickets here. For a senior donkey friend like me, I am tired of seeing the play mode of buying tickets for many attractions, scenic delivery, ropeway, scenic spots, and commercial streets, and I am free, unrestrained, and refreshing. Tourism is a kind of physical and mental relaxation tour, not a process of mental service, after all, there are many ordinary people, and the huge ticket fees and ropeway fees are still prohibitive.
6. Quiet and elegant---- Wuhou Temple
will go home tomorrow morning, Walking around the city today.
My daughter just came to Chengdu in July, and she recommended me to go to Wenshu Monastery and People's Park, sit there and drink tea, and feel the leisurely and comfortable market life in old Chengdu. It's raining again in Chengdu today, it's wet and cold, I'll go to the Wuhou Temple to take a look.
Wuhou Temple is the only temple in the country that commemorates Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and other Shu Han heroes, and is also the most influential museum of the Three Kingdoms in the world. During the Republic of China, Zou Lu wrote a poem: "The door is written in the Zhao Lie Temple, and the world is said to be Wuhou Temple." The name has always been lost, and the prime minister's merits are high for generations." It shows Zhuge Liang's huge influence among the people. The Wuhou Temple is divided into three parts: the Three Kingdoms Historical Sites Area (Cultural Relics Area), the Three Kingdoms Cultural Experience Area (West District) and the Jinli Folk Customs Area (Jinli). I know a lot about the history and culture of the Three Kingdoms, and I really want to pay my respects seriously without distraction, the time is too tight, and I look forward to the next appointment.
Entering the West District, I saw that the garden was full of green trees, lush bamboo, gurgling blue water, quiet and elegant. It is also a different feeling to be able to walk leisurely and feel quiet during the journey. General Liu Xiang is buried here, the cemetery is solemn, and the general is eternal!
The adjacent Jinli Ancient Street does not look as bustling as before. Revisiting the old place, no longer passionate, 13 years have passed since the last time I came to Chengdu.
I took the subway to Tianfu Airport for two hours in the afternoon to stay, departed at 5 o'clock the next day, took off at 7:45, and went home at 9:45.
7. Travel experience
There are still many attractions in Chengdu that have not yet been visited, Jiuzhaigou in northern Sichuan, the large ring line and the small ring line in western Sichuan are dotted with attractions, Xichang in southern Sichuan, Panzhihua, Yibin, etc. are all long-cherished tourist attractions, and in the year of retirement, Sichuan will become the first choice for future tourism, and personally experience the beauty of "entering Sichuan and not leaving Sichuan when you are old".
This time I visited three museums and an ancient town in less than six days. There is no deliberate rush, the meal is simple, the accommodation is comfortable, and the person travels freely and unrestrainedly. After nearly 30 years of development, to today's in-depth travel, free travel, off-season travel, slow down, stop, stay, the convenience, knowledge, happiness, and satisfaction of tourism are constantly improving. After returning, I carefully watched CCTV's documentaries such as "Sanxingdui New Discovery", "Sanxingdui Eye-Opening", "Chengdu Jianchuan Museum's Very Memory" and other documentaries, and deeply felt that tourism is a process of re-learning, improving, and re-cognizing, and it is a process of enjoying a better life in life. At the same time, personal travel experience also reflects the current social scene of the people's happy life, national peace and security, and prosperity from one side, and we are sincerely proud and proud to live in this beautiful, peaceful and happy country!
