It is the only remaining pristine secondary forest at this latitude.
The area is crisscrossed with rolling peaks, facing Gubi Mountain. The great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai admired this place and wrote the famous poem "Questions and Answers in the Mountains," praising its breathtaking scenery. The line " Another world, not of this world " evokes Li Bai's admiration for this paradise on earth. " Peaks vie for beauty, valleys converge into verdant streams , " and mountain springs converge into numerous pools, notably the " Wulianchi " and the large and small " Tianchi . " The ruins of the ancient Youyan Temple are also found here, offering easy access up and down the mountain.
On clear days, the mountains and water complement each other, creating a sea of emerald green. When the rain is hazy , the peaks are shrouded in clouds and mist , creating a picturesque scene. The mountains are home to numerous caves, with the Nine Dragon Palace being the most magical . Dry caves have upper and lower levels , lanes and halls , while wet caves offer clear streams, round pools, and waterfalls. The fresh air and gentle breezes within the caves are even more extraordinary.
