Tianjing Mountain, located 40 kilometers southwest of Wuwei County, borders Lujiang River to the west and Chaohu Lake to the north, covering a total area of approximately 18,000 mu (approximately 16,000 mu ). Notable peaks in Tianjing Mountain Park include Lingbi, Doubi, Tianjing Mountain, Bijia Mountain, and Zhoujia Mountain. A well at the summit, which never dries up or overflows year-round, gave it the name Tianjing Mountain.
Tianjing Mountain was once home to numerous temples and monasteries, enjoying a long-standing reputation as a scenic spot in western Ruxi. However, after experiencing successive wars, only Shuangquan Temple and Qingtai Temple remain. Shuangquan Temple, originally named Fuyuan Temple, rose to prominence in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Ming Dynasty, and declined in the Qing Dynasty. In the second year of the Zhenguan reign of the Tang Dynasty ( 628 ), Emperor Taizong gifted gold to build Fuyuan Temple. The roof beam bears the inscription, " Built by Li Shimin, supervised by Yuchi Jingde , " painted in gold. A stone tablet commemorating this event stands beside a qingtan tree. In the fourth year of the Yongwei reign ( 653 ), Zen Master Fuhu rebuilt the temple and renamed it Shuangquan Temple, citing the scenic beauty of the twin springs outside. It is now a provincially protected temple.
The most striking feature is the flocks of egrets and cattle egrets that fly across the forest from March to October each year . They fly to nearby Chaohu, Baihu, and Linhu during the day to feed on fish and shrimp, returning in droves to roost in the forest at sunset. Especially in the Biyinwa area within the park, tens of thousands of egrets fly across the clear blue sky and sea each day, creating a spectacular sight.
