On the wall of the east gate of Yanyang Old Street, there is a county government notice from the seventh year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, namely the " Zhengtang Chenshi " , which is engraved with notices on maintaining social order, such as banning gambling, banning smoking, banning slaughtering oxen, and banning singing obscene Lu opera.
Li Hongzhang Pawnshop
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Li Hongzhang, a powerful official, opened pawnshops in many cities and important towns. The pawnshop on East Street in Yanyang Town was run by his nephew, Li Dahai. It is one of Anhui Province's best-preserved ancient buildings, embodying the typical Luzhou style.
Bunker Group
During the Anti-Japanese War, the Japanese occupied the town of Yanyang, and they built a cluster of bunkers in the north of the town. Today, two of these bunkers are still well preserved at the old railway station, serving as evidence of the Japanese invasion of China and a living example of patriotism.
