Introducing Jiangjun Mountain

Jiangjun Mountain, formerly known as Tiger Mountain, is located in the Qingguanding area of southeastern Pingtan. It faces the Haitan Strait to the east and faces Taiwan Island across the sea. To commemorate the grand occasion of over 100 generals ascending the mountain to observe the joint military exercises in the early spring of 1996, the Pingtan County Party Committee and County Government decided to change the mountain's name on April 1 of that year , further highlighting the area's tourism development.

Jiangjun Mountain , 104 meters above sea level , rises from the sea, steep and rugged, with giant rocks interlaced, strange rocks, and intertwined roots, creating a scene of endless beauty. The mountain is connected to the eastern mountain of Dafu Village, Aodong Township, forming the Qingguanding Scenic Area , a national key scenic spot in Haitan . The scenic area was originally characterized by hilly rock scenery, capes and bays, and temple buildings.

The scenic protection area will be based on the military exercise sites of the troops and will gradually be built into a national scenic area and patriotism education base with the theme of " national reunification " . It is a good place for military camping, summer camps, special outings and other activities.
