
Baimahe Park is located on the bank of Baimahe River in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is planted with banyan trees, bamboos, etc., with subtropical plants as the main tone. There are nearly 80,000 trees and shrubs (clusters), including more than 600 large trees with a breast diameter of 15 to 20 cm. The entire layout highlights the subtropical scenery.
On the east bank, there is the "Sunflower Garden" dominated by palm plants such as fan palm, clump fishtail palm and beautiful true palm; there is the "Banyan Shade Square" dominated by 24 large banyan trees, with high hedges on three sides and in the middle composed of flowering bamboo, bougainvillea and other plants; there is the "Five Blessings Square" surrounded by trees such as mango, hibiscus, osmanthus and hibiscus. In the square, there is a "Five Blessings Pattern Flower Bed" with an area of 457 square meters, which is based on the folk pattern of Fuzhou that represents good luck and well-being; there is the "Lychee Garden" dominated by lychees, supplemented by trees such as carambola and Araucaria; about 370 meters away from the former site of Wushan Library on Huancheng Road, there is an ancient city battlement. On the west bank, there is the "Lan Gui Yuan" which is dominated by aromatic flowers and trees such as white jasmine, Michelia, Milan osmanthus, camellia, macula maculatum, and Bauhinia; there is the "Ancient Banyan Square" which is dominated by an ancient banyan tree and surrounded by winding corridors; there is also a sculpture square and a croquet court, as well as lawns, flowers, etc. It is a unique riverside park with plant landscaping as the main feature.
