Introducing Tianyun Cave

Tianyun Cave, located in Daitou Town, Xiuyu District, is the main peak of Dayan Mountain, rising 398 meters above sea level. Ships entering and leaving the port of Xinghua Bay often use it for navigation. The mountain boasts numerous rock formations, a variety of unusual rocks, numerous caves, and numerous stone sculptures. Among the unique and picturesque rocks are the Stone Fish Drum, Stone Chime, Eighteen Leaping Stones, and East-West Overturned Ship Stones. The stone sculptures of camels, eagles, and dogs are incredibly lifelike and spiritual, seemingly able to speak. The most famous is the "Thirty-Six Dishes," a breathtaking natural grotto in the shape of plates, bowls, dishes, spoons, and other utensils scattered across the several hundred square meters of the boulder's top.

Tianyun Cave, commonly known as Xiangongding by local Putian people, is located on the Dayun Mountain in Wenli, Daitou Town, Xiuyu District.
