Zhuge Lu, short for Nanyang Zhuge Lu, is the thatched hut where Zhuge Liang lived as a hermit in Nanyang. It is a famous historical site and site. Initially built during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Zhuge Lu was a temple dedicated to the deceased on Wolong Hill west of Nanyang City. During this period, descendants built a temple to commemorate him. During the Republic of China era, the temple was renowned worldwide. Today, Wolong Hill has been designated a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit by the State Council, a National Second-Class Museum, and a National AAAA-level Scenic Area.
Located west of Nanyang City (Wolong District), a renowned historical and cultural city in Henan Province, Wolonggang, Nanyang, is a leading historical site in southwestern Henan. Because the renowned Prime Minister Zhuge Liang lived and worked as a farmer here, the Wuhou Shrine at Wolonggang attracts a steady stream of domestic and international tourists annually.
Nanyang's Wolonggang, first established during the Wei and Jin dynasties and flourishing during the Tang and Song dynasties, boasts a history of 1,800 years. It was the place where Zhuge Liang, a prominent politician and military strategist during the Three Kingdoms period, lived as a farmer and secluded himself. It was also the place where Emperor Zhaolie of Han (Liu Bei) visited him three times at his thatched cottage, and where the strategy of dividing the empire into three parts was initiated. It is also the site where Zhuge Liang cultivated the land in Nanyang and a place of worship for him throughout the ages. Liu Yuxi wrote in his "Humble Dwelling Inscription" that "Nanyang is home to Zhuge Liang's Hut, the Ziyun Pavilion of Western Shu." Li Bai's "Nandu Xing" reads, "Who recognizes the Wolong guest, his long chants of sorrow, his hair graying." As early as the Tang Dynasty, Nanyang's Wolonggang had become a renowned cultural attraction. Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty designated it as Zhuge Liang's farmland, earning it the nickname "the best hill in the world."

Zhuge's Lodge, also known as "Nanyang Zhuge Lodge," is located within the Wuhou Temple at Wolonggang, west of Nanyang City, Henan Province. It boasts unique architecture and elegant scenery. Nearby attractions include the Three Visits Hall, Wolong Pond, Gonggeng Place, Gonggeng Pavilion, and the Wolong Stele Forest, making it a popular destination for sightseeing.
