Introducing Zhanggong Cave

Zhanggong Cave, also known as Gengsang Cave, is a famous limestone cave and one of the "Three Wonders" of Yixing.

It is located at the foot of Mengfeng Mountain, about 22 kilometers southwest of Yixing City, and more than 60 kilometers from Wuxi City in the northeast.

The cave has 72 caves of varying sizes, each with a different temperature, earning it the title of "A Wonder of China." Legend has it that Zhang Daoling of the Han Dynasty practiced Taoism here, and Zhang Guolao of the Tang Dynasty lived in seclusion here, hence the name Zhanggong Cave.

The cave is more than 1,000 meters long. Entering from the bottom of the cave, you will see a dazzling array of stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtains and stone flowers.

Going up the stairs is the Neptune Hall, also known as Tianpeng Hall, which is the essence of the cave.
