Each corner of the pavilion has four pillars, all painted red. Constructed of reinforced concrete, the Xingjian Pavilion is both beautiful and sturdy.

The pavilion's beams, architraves, caisson ceilings, and corbels are all decorated with colorful paintings, and the double-layered roofs are covered with blue glazed tiles.
