
The former residence of Chen Yuguang, located at No. 71 Hankou Road, Gulou District , was his residence after he became the president of Jinling University in 1927. The building is a two-story Western-style building with an attic and a basement. The main entrance is on the east side. It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
The building was used as a temporary command post for the Japanese invaders during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and later served as the residence of several presidents of Nanjing University. It has now been donated to the Amity Foundation by their descendants and is used as an office space.
