
Nanjing Zheng He Park is located on the east side of the middle section of Taiping South Road in Nanjing's Qinhuai District. Originally named Taiping Park , the park was built in 1953 and renamed Zheng He Park on May 3, 1985, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Zheng He 's voyages to the West .
Nanjing Zheng He Park adopts the classical Jiangnan garden style, emphasizing the setting of artistic conception and the matching of pavilions and terraces. The small bridges and flowing water, willow branches and lotus leaves complement each other. The park has the quaint double pavilion, the elegant promenade and the courtyard-style Zheng He Memorial Hall.
