
The former residence was originally the site of Bagui Hall among the Eight Mansions of the Tang family, and now displays his life stories.
The exhibition room vividly reproduces the historical records of this well-known industrialist and patriot in various periods with photos and physical materials. The surrounding windows record his entrepreneurial journey with detailed historical materials, and inscriptions hung high on the walls are full of admiration and remembrance for him.
The former residence comprises four main courtyards: the gatehouse, the main hall, the guest room, and the Sutra Building (Tianxiang Building), all of which are gabled timber structures. Corridors run from front to back, each separated by a patio. The entire residence is surrounded by a wall forming a courtyard, with a boundary stone inscribed with "Jingxiu Hall" embedded at the base of the wall. The first courtyard houses the gatehouse, with a gatehouse to the east. The second main hall, with a double-sided veranda, is three bays wide, with a central width of 3.75 meters and a depth of seven purlins. It is surrounded by a corridor, and four osmanthus trees are planted in the patio. The third guest room is the same width as the second and eight purlins deep. The left and right passages feature carved brick doorframes. Screen doors separate the guest room and double-sided veranda, and a rockery is placed in the rear patio.
