The Ancient Tree Garden is a scenic forest area in Zhengzhou, located at the intersection of Tianhe Road and Kaiyuan Road in Huiji District. It boasts over 3,700 trees of over 30 species, including nearly 900 trees over 100 years old, three over 1,000 years old, and dozens over 500 years old. The garden also features forest trails, two 60-80 ton boulders, an artificial lake, and rockery. It serves as a popular leisure and exercise destination for Zhengzhou residents.

To facilitate tourists' leisure and sightseeing, forest trails were paved in the park, a 36,000-square-meter grass square was developed, and two huge stones weighing 60-80 tons were transported to the park, forming a unique cultural landscape, improving the level of civilization and taste of the urban area, and generating great repercussions in the Central Plains and even the whole country.
The new district has a total area of 540 mu, with a current green area of 300 mu and a square area of 30 mu. Except for the four office buildings, it will be gradually fully greened.
The names of the eight scenic spots are: Ancient Tree Garden, Small Leisure Square, Artificial Lake, Fountain, River Square, Pine Forest, Ginkgo Forest, Rockery, and Sports and Leisure Field.
The sports and leisure area includes basketball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, various fitness equipment, leisure corridors and pavilions.
