Located in Leihe Village, Huimeng Town, Mengjin County, Luoyang City, Longma Futu Temple is a key cultural relic protection site in Henan Province. Legend has it that it was first built in 348 AD, the fourth year of the Yonghe reign of Emperor Mu of the Jin Dynasty, as the first ceremonial site erected on the former course of the Tu River to commemorate the achievements of Fuxi, the "Father of Humanity." This site is the site of the Hetu (Hetu) diagram of Heluo culture and the birthplace of Chinese Yijing (Book of Changes), dating back over 1,600 years. Due to wars throughout the ages, the temple was repeatedly rebuilt and abandoned. The restoration of the main hall, the reconstruction of the Fuxi dragon and horse statues, the construction of a mountain gate, and the construction of three stone bridges across the Tu River have gradually restored the temple to its original appearance, transforming it into a sacred ancestral site for descendants of the Yellow Emperor and a research center for the Hetu and Luoshu (Hetu and Luoshu).
Bounded by the Yellow River to the north and Mang Mountain to the south, the temple abuts the ancient course of the Tu River. The temple boasts a magnificent scale, towering halls, and steep mountain gates. Mount Mang lies before it, and the river surges behind it.
