Introducing Diecai Cave

Diecai Cave, located within the Yuntaishan Scenic Area, is a highway tunnel connecting Henan and Shanxi provinces. A masterpiece of the Xiuwu people's heroic struggle against nature, it took eight years to build. Twenty-three tunnels, large and small, are connected end to end, totaling over 4,800 meters, rising through the cliffs.

From the gaps in the cave, one can admire the plains from afar, the cliffs up close, the unusual rocks above, and the valleys below. Hear the chirping of birds, the melody of springs, and the refreshing fragrance of flowers. The area is dotted with unusual rocks, including " Snail Climbing the Mountain , " " Warship Patrolling the Mountain , " " Grass Bamboo Shoots Reaching the Clouds , " " Unable to Descend , " " Frightened Red Hare , " " Two Quails Fighting , " and " A Line of Sky . " There's also the " Taihang Flower, " a rare perennial rose herbaceous plant named after the Chinese Academy of Sciences .

Exiting Diecai Cave , you'll reach Sanxiu Peak. Atop the peak stands a remarkable rock, approximately 40 meters tall , towering amidst a verdant forest of flowers. From different angles , it transforms into a large Ganoderma lucidum, a charming village girl, or a modern woman climbing a mountain in a long skirt. The name " peak " embodies the beauty of mountains, rocks, and flowers. Passing Sanxiu Peak leads to Xiying Temple .

Looking west, the panoramic view encompasses the high gorges and the flat lake . It evokes the poetic sentiment of " Having already reached Yingzhou , who says the path to immortality is long ?" To the south, the " Buddha Shrine Peak " stands directly before us, evoking the image of the Buddha ascending to heaven, " The Buddha has departed, leaving the shrine empty . "
