Introducing Wangcheng Park

Built in 1955, Wangcheng Park, named for its location on the ruins of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty's royal city, comprises several areas, including an ancient cultural area, a peony garden, an animal museum, and an amusement park. During the annual peony festival, Wangcheng Park is a popular spot for viewing the blossoms in the ancient city. During the blooming season in April, many tourists flock to admire the famous peonies.

The park's peony area is a favorite among visitors. Comprising several large peony beds, it boasts over 10,000 peonies. Amidst the over 300 varieties of peonies stands a graceful, elegant white sculpture of a peony fairy. When the flowers bloom, the scene is a dazzling display of vibrant colors. The zoo, located in the northern part of the park, is home to over 50 rare species of animals, including giant pandas, Siberian tigers, South China tigers, and red-crowned cranes. It's a great place for children to visit.
