Jiulian Mountain Scenic Area is located in Songshuping Village, Shangbali Town, Huixian City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It is named because its nine peaks resemble a blooming lotus.
Nine peaks intersect here, and mountain movement has formed three vast canyons: Xiliangou, Guanhou Grand Canyon, and Hongyan Grand Canyon. Influenced by the geological structure and rock distribution, the mountain landscape is complex and diverse, with undulating hills, deep valleys, dense forests, and steep peaks. The landforms are characterized by peak walls, peak ridges, and gorges, as well as Danxia formations such as karst columns and peaks, peak forests, peak clusters, waterfalls, cascades, and unusual rock paintings.
