The Ranghe Scenic Area, located 3 kilometers north of Banchang Township, comprises the Ranghe and Guajianduo scenic areas. Guajianduo's solitary peak reaches into the clouds, its summit a stark, bare granite cliff. The view from the foot of the mountain is breathtaking, rivaling the peril of Mount Hua. Below the peak flows a stream, cascading waterfalls. Along the banks of the Ranghe River, verdant valleys stretch across the landscape, and small villages nestled among bamboo forests create an idyllic scene. The azaleas in the Ranghe Scenic Area come in four colors: red, white, purple, and pink, and their bloom period lasts for over 20 days. Tung blossoms and barberry flowers also bloom, creating a captivating display of graceful blooms, accompanied by the dancing bees and the fluttering of birds.
With its temperate monsoon climate, Nanyang City is another place for vacation and leisure, suitable for travel in all seasons.
The waters of the Rang River are untouched by dust. Abundant rainfall constantly infuses this ancient river valley with vitality. The lush vegetation not only nurtures the mountain's treasures but also provides the Rang River with an endless supply of water. Thousands of streams converge into the ravine, following the mountain's slopes, forming waterfalls of varying sizes. Under the brilliant sunlight, the waters appear crystal clear. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll.
