Sanlingtai, located 9 kilometers northwest of the ancient city of Shangqiu in Henan Province, is the royal tomb of three dukes, including Duke Dai of Song, of the Western Zhou Dynasty. The three tombs, known as " Sanlingtai ," are located here, along with their east-west orientation. It is also the birthplace of surnames in the Central Plains , with over 20 origins, including Song, Dai, Wu, Xuan, Niu, and Huangfu .
The three mausoleums of Sanling Terrace stand side by side, resembling three camel humps. Within the mausoleum area, over 400 ancient cypresses stand tall and vigorous, arranged in a well-proportioned pattern. Just in front of the central mound lies another ancient tomb: that of Song Xun, Minister of Personnel, Prince Taibao, and Honorary Doctor, who lived in Shangqiu during the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty.
In front of Song Xun's tomb, there were two rows of stone men, stone horses, and stone sheep with different expressions on both sides of the wide road, which were more than a mile long. There were also 18 stone tablets , which were magnificent.
